It is vital there is an induction period for new workers to ensure
they are equipped and confident for their social care role to enable
them to provide the best level of care.
This resource is designed to support new workers together with their
line managers identify induction learning needs and access relevant
guidance and learning resources to complement the mandatory learning
required by and provided within your organisation.
The resource also contains information to support employers identify
minimum training and learning requirements for individual roles and
deliver effective induction.

Employer that can help provide more information to support
workers' inductions.
This section is currently in development with stakeholders
within the sector, but in the meantime, please use the steps
below to see how you can use the National Induction Framework to
support workers' inductions.
The Worker areas section contains all the area's of practice that a worker may be in. These sections are where workers can access a 'pathway' that helps take new workers through training materials to suppoer their career at the early stages. There are also options for role-specific training and career development, but these will be developed further as this framework gains more content for these areas.
